List of products by brand INPEAK

INPEAK designs and manufactures crank-based power meters in Poland, with solutions particularly suited to Shimano road, gravel and MTB cranksets. Their key advantage is simple: add power measurement to your bike without unnecessarily replacing a crankset, bottom bracket or chainrings that already work perfectly. A straightforward approach that complements the Rotor ecosystem, with European production helping us provide fast availability, technical advice and efficient after-sales support.

INPEAK: add a power meter without rebuilding your bike

At Velo-Perso.com, power meters are one of the product categories we particularly enjoy working with. Measuring watts has fundamentally changed the way cyclists train, manage their effort and simply understand what is happening on the bike.

INPEAK brings a different approach to our range, one that is highly complementary to Rotor: allowing cyclists to add power measurement while keeping as much of their existing setup as possible.

Why INPEAK at Velo-Perso?
Because a cyclist already using a good Shimano crankset does not necessarily need to replace the crankset, chainrings or bottom bracket simply to start measuring power.

Making power measurement accessible to more bikes

One of INPEAK's main strengths is its broad coverage of Shimano cranksets. Road, gravel or MTB: the brand offers solutions for many generations of 105, Ultegra, Dura-Ace, GRX, SLX, XT and XTR cranksets.

In many cases, this makes it possible to add a power meter simply by changing or adapting the crank arm, while keeping the rest of the drivetrain unchanged.

This is particularly useful when:

  • the Shimano crankset already fitted to the bike works perfectly;
  • you want to retain your Shimano chainrings and shifting performance;
  • you do not want to change the bottom bracket;
  • you are looking for a simple way to start training with power;
  • you want to equip a road, gravel or mountain bike without rebuilding the entire drivetrain.

INPEAK or Rotor: two complementary approaches

We do not consider INPEAK to be a replacement for Rotor.

Rotor remains particularly relevant when you want to upgrade the complete crankset system: changing crank length, moving to carbon or aluminium cranks, choosing round or oval chainrings, adopting a modular crankset or using INspider, INpower or 2INpower technology.

INPEAK answers a different question: “My bike is already well equipped. How can I simply add power measurement?”

It is precisely this complementary approach that convinced us to add INPEAK to the Velo-Perso range.

POWERCRANK or POWERCRANK-E

INPEAK power meters are available with two different power-supply concepts:

  • POWERCRANK: powered by a replaceable CR2032 battery, an excellent solution for riders looking for long autonomy and simplicity;
  • POWERCRANK-E: equipped with a rechargeable battery and magnetic charging connection, for riders who prefer recharging rather than replacing a battery.

Depending on the crankset and version, INPEAK also offers single-sided and TWiN2 dual-sided power measurement solutions.

The power meters communicate via ANT+ and Bluetooth, making them compatible with the main GPS cycling computers and compatible training applications.

Designed and manufactured in Poland

INPEAK is a Polish company founded in Wrocław by engineers who are also passionate cyclists. POWERCRANK power meters are designed and manufactured in Poland.

This matters to us at Velo-Perso. Wherever possible, we want to continue developing a catalogue of technical components designed or manufactured in Europe, working with manufacturers that are close enough to provide responsive logistics and efficient after-sales support.

A power meter is an electronic component expected to remain on a bike for several years. Manufacturer availability, technical support and long-term service therefore matter almost as much as the specifications on the day of purchase.

Why use a power meter?

Buying a power meter only makes sense if you know how to make use of the watts it measures.

However, you do not need to be a racer or an expert in exercise physiology. You can start very simply by displaying power on a climb, then gradually learn how to analyse rides, determine training zones, structure workouts or manage effort accurately during a gran fondo or long-distance event.

We have created a complete guide covering the different ways cyclists can use a power meter depending on their experience and objectives:

Which INPEAK power meter should you choose?

The first criterion is your current crankset: Shimano model, generation and crank length. You can then choose between replaceable battery or rechargeable battery, and between single-sided or dual-sided measurement when both options are available.

The INPEAK power meters currently available from Velo-Perso are listed directly below. If you are unsure about compatibility with your bike, or whether an INPEAK solution would be more appropriate than a Rotor setup, contact us before ordering. This type of technical compatibility question is exactly where we can help.
